Can I pass processing fees to my clients in Canada?
Yes. Credit card surcharging is permitted in Canada following the October 2022 Visa and Mastercard settlement. Surcharges must be clearly disclosed to clients before payment, which QRwise handles transparently at checkout.
Do I need a tablet or POS terminal?
No. QRwise replaces your POS terminal entirely. A printed QR code — placed at reception, on the mirror, or at each chair — is all you need. Clients pay from their own phone.
Can I list my full service menu including retail products?
Yes. The Starter and Pro plans let you list all your services, packages, and retail products. Clients can see everything and add items at checkout.
How do tips work?

What happens if a client wants to split payment between two cards?
QRwise does not currently support split payments between two cards in a single transaction. Clients pay the full amount with one card. Split-payment support is on our roadmap for a future release.
